Keith is your typical 13 year old boy who loves sports and had royal blue and neon green in mind for his Temple Beth Am bar mitzvah. He also loves food and travel, which is what really set the tone for this event. Throughout the space there were elements of food from the florals in the cocktail hour where broccoli and celery were incorporated by being tied into the centerpieces, to whisks hanging above the tables in the big gold structures at the reception.
The food stations were a big collaboration between the client, us, the event designer and the caterer to make an amazing guest experience. The California fresh station during cocktail hour, the Italian, Indian and Asian dinner stations, and the Parisian dessert station were all designed to make you feel like you were taking a mini trip around the world.
